BIBLE STUDY

We’d love to have you join one of our ongoing Bible classes!

  • Sunday Morning between Services – Beginning Feb. 12 & 19, “The Freedom of a Christian. Understand one of Luther's three famous 1520 treatises that together came to be known as the "Reformation Platform." In “The Freedom of a Christian,” he beautifully explains the righteousness of faith on the basis of Scripture.

  • Sunday Morning after Services - “Foundations,” a 12-16 week course on basic Christian doctrine. Great for those new to Bethany! (Classes start at various times during the year.)

  • Wednesday Mornings at 9:30 am “Read Through the Bible.” Beginning April 8, we’ll be reading through another book of the Bible and enjoy coffee and conversation.

  • Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 pm – Beginning April 8, “Paul’s Letter to the Galatians.” Paul is perhaps as agitated as he gets in the book of Galatians. He's worried that the Galatians are sacrificing their freedom and giving up the Gospel. So, he writes a vigorous defense of the freedom we have in Christ. He answers questions the Galatians had: "If we're free, what purpose does the law serve?" and "If we're free, does that mean it's safe to sin?" We'll answer these questions and more as we dive into this Gospel-filled book.

  • Saturday Women’s Study, 9:00 am (2nd Saturday of each month) - “The Book of Proverbs.”
