BIBLE STUDY

Join one of our ongoing Bible classes!

• Sunday Morning between Services at 9:30 am (Starts Sep. 20) - Have you ever come across a Bible passage that left you scratching your head or wondering, “What does this really mean?” Join us for Taming the Elephants, a Bible study where we'll explore passages that might feel like the elephant in the room, discovering how God's Word fits together and finding the comfort and certainty of the gospel along the way.

• Monday Evenings at 6:00 pm (Starts Sep. 14) - “Foundations” - Basic Christian Doctrine class held at CLCA for anyone interested in a basic review of Bible teachings and the teachings of our church.  It’s a great time for personal review, or an opportunity for those interested in membership.  Bring a friend!

• Tuesday Evenings at 6:30 pm (Starts Sep. 15) - Basic Christian Doctrine class held at Bethany for anyone interested in a basic review of Bible teachings and the teachings of our church.  It’s a great time for personal review, or an opportunity for those interested in membership.  Bring a friend!

• Wednesday Mornings at 9:30 am; (Starts Sep. 16) - “The Gospel of Mark” – We pick up the shortest Gospel, Mark, at chapter 10 as we begin this fall.  Would you enjoy some time spent with coffee, conversation, and Scripture?  This class is an informal listening and discussion of God’s Word, chapter by chapter.  Chapter 10 is where we left off last spring, but you’re not behind if you join in now.  Each chapter has its own blessings to provide, week by week.  Come to all or come to some!

• Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 pm (Starts Sep. 16) - “Book of Joel” - Ask your average Christian to tell you something about the book of Joel, and you might get a one-word answer: "Locusts!" It's true, these tiny creatures play a big part in Joel's prophecy. Within Joel's book, locusts contribute to the theme of God's judgment and how the natural world fits into the worship life of God's people. Join us on Wednesday evenings for a deeper dive into this short book!

• Saturday Women’s Study, 9:00 am (Starts Sep. 12, 2nd Sat. of each month) - Enjoy diving into a variety of topics and conversation.
