Jesus went to a wedding in Cana. He was a frequent guest in the home of Mary and Martha. He was welcomed by Peter’s mother-in-law upon recovery from her fever. He expressed a divine need to visit Zacchaeus in his home. It’s obvious Jesus places a high priority on spending time with people—his people—where they live. For this purpose among many others Jesus has given pastors that He might be with His people where they live.
