BIBLE STUDY
We’d love to have you at one of our Bible Studies!
Check out what we have currently:
Bible 101- Adult Christian Education Class
‘In the beginning. . .’
Everything has a beginning. For every place you want to go, everything you want to achieve, everyone you want to meet--there has to be a beginning - a starting place. This is our beginning for those interested in what we teach at Bethany. Maybe you grew up going to church but life happened and you fell away. Maybe you didn't and you're curious. Maybe you're active but have questions. Maybe you're none of these things, or maybe you're a healthy mixture of them all. It doesn't matter to us why you're starting--we’re glad you are. It’s everything you need for this year and beyond.
Over the course of eight lessons we'll cover all the basics: from creation to Jesus and what he's done to save; from how to read God's Word to faith and daily life; from baptism to holy communion, and a variety of other important topics.
Wednesday Morning Bible Class
The current topic is The Book of Daniel. We go chapter by chapter with discussion and coffee!
At 9:30 a.m. every Wednesday, join us as we read through chapters of books of the Bible. This is a great, small-group Bible Study held in the church Fellowship Hall where informal discussions can be had. Questions on some Bible lesson? Do you have a practical application to share with the group? Do you just want to listen and learn? Then this Bible Study is for you! Come and join us each week or whenever you can.
Wednesday Night ‘Manna’ Bible Class
Manna Bible Class is offered from Fall through Spring on Wednesday nights with a meal served at 6:00 p.m., followed by Bible Class at 6:30 p.m.
If you're looking for something that satisfies a hunger more than stomach-deep, this is it. Bring yourself and your family or friends. We'll provide the food for both body and soul. As Jesus said, "Man does not live on bread alone; but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." And he knows a thing or two about feeding people.
Currently we’re studying “The Life and Times of Elijah: Being a Christian in Tough Times.” During the four weeks leading up to Lent, we are looking at four instances in the life of this famous prophet and considering how the tough world of his day reminds of us our own.
