Wednesday nights: manna

It's an inevitable fact of life: people get hungry, people need food. It was that way from the very beginning. Food is so central to life that we've even made it an industry and turned it into entertainment. So it isn't at all surprising that we would even try to make food a source of comfort. A meal that evokes memories of mom, or hot summer days around the grill with dad, or good times with friends--we call that comfort food. But comfort food might be a bit of a misnomer. No matter what the meal or the memory, it can only satisfy for a moment. And then we get hungry all over again.

If you're looking for something that satisfies a hunger that's more than stomach deep, this is it. Bring the whole family. We'll provide the food both for body and for soul. Because as Jesus said, "Man does not live on bread alone; but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." And he knows a thing or two about feeding people.

Manna runs intermittently throughout the year on Wednesday nights. We eat at 6:00. We chew on God's Word around 6:15. We finish at 7:30. Childcare is available for infants. Bible stories at their own level for children up to 8th grade. Check our calendar page for our next series!
